I'm trying to get tickets to this sold- out event. Yeah... I like soulful jazz...even did my share of improvisation playing trumpet in the school jazz band. For me, trying to improvise never worked, I had to just let go and 'not try' to play...let it happen as it would. It's a great feeling, letting the music escape without care.
